Monica Dibley

President

Monica is a mother of a 5 year old boy and is a current PhD student in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Michigan. She received her Associate’s Degree at a community college in Virginia. Her son was born before transferring to William and Mary, also in Virginia, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. She founded the Students With Kids Club at William and Mary and is very enthusiastic about continuing her role as an advocate for student caregivers and parents. She hopes to encourage peer support, grow the community, and make it as inclusive and welcoming as possible. She is very excited to meet everyone in the community and greet the newcomers!

Alexis (Lexi) Tait

Vice President

I am MSI student at University of Michigan. I will be done this Winter semester. I received my BS in User Experience Design from UMich. I look forward to helping students like me succeed. 

Crystal Briskey

Treasurer

Crystal is a transfer student from St. Clair County Community College and is currently attending the college of LSA as an undergraduate majoring in English and Anthropology. She is married and has one adult child and two teenagers. She lives in Northwood V and is looking forward to serving her community and helping other caregivers/parents learn how to balance student life and home life. Outside of school she is a leader in the Pearl Beach Lions Club and the Lions of Michigan 11D-2 district as the Region 1 Chairperson. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community. As a lifetime Girl Scout member, her personal motto is "Make the world a better place" and she strives to accomplish this every day. 

Kerrigan Fitzpatrick

Communications Officer

Kerrigan is a graduate student in the School of Education at the University of Michigan. Kerrigan co-founded MCaSP during her junior year of undergraduate studies following the birth of her daughter and has since dedicated herself to improving educational experiences and outcomes for pregnant, parenting and caregiving students.
