Brandon Keyes

President

My name is Brandon Keyes, and I am a senior at the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, majoring in Organizational Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship. After earning my Associate of Science degree from Wayne County Community College District in Detroit, I transferred to Michigan with plans to pursue graduate studies in Ann Arbor. I am a veteran of the war in Iraq, a dedicated husband to a brilliant high school teacher, and a proud father of two young boys.

Currently, I serve as the president of MCaSP (Michigan Caregivers and Student Parents), a Transfer Student Ambassador at LSA, and a lab manager and grader at the Ross School of Business. Outside of my academic and professional roles, I play ice hockey on two teams, a passion that keeps me connected and active. My true calling is helping others, especially those who don’t follow traditional pathways to Michigan, and facilitating access to opportunities that empower them to thrive.
